 VBS.TV headed to Colombia to meet with Edgar "El Chino" Jimenez, a photographer from Medellin hired by Pablo Escobar in 1981 to document his home life. Back in the 60s Jimenez and Escobar were classmates at Antioqueno Junior High School in Colombia. Before becoming Escobar's personal photographer when they met again in 81 Edgar Jimenez was working as a local wedding photographer. From then on he was documenting his political campaigns, his private parties, and the various goings-on at Escobar's 3,000-acre estate, Hacienda Napoles. |

Operation Midnight Climax was a CIA mind-control research program that began in the 1950s. The project consisted of CIA-run safehouses in San Francisco, Marin, and New York. It was established in order to study the effects of LSD on unconsenting individuals. Prostitutes on the CIA payroll were instructed to lure clients back to the safehouses, where they were given a wide range of substances, including LSD, and monitored behind two-way mirrors. |
