 The New York based Hardcore band Activator is the most recent addition to the Definitive Jux Records artist roster. Hailing from various parts of New York City, with influences as divergent as Prince and GWAR, Activator's music is a fitting homage to classic NYC Hardcore with a twist. The band consists of members Shannon Moore, Jared Drace, and Cavassa Nickens. Download Activator's first EP "Unfortunate Lovely" for free:
